i am a giant dr seuss fan. you'll often hear me say things like, a persons a person no matter how small. OR i would not like them in a boat i would not like them with a goat............i would not like them here or there. i would not like them anywhere. that sam i am that sam i am. i do NOT like green eggs and ham. BUT i digress. years and years and years ago, i got the grinch, cindy lou who (who was no more than two)and max on my shoulder. it's not giant, it's just right. when kenny (my tattoo 'consultant') was doing it, he had to keep stopping because he was laughing so hard. anyway, i insisted kenny put in concentric hearts for the grinch. why kenny asked... i said because kenny, sometimes my friends tell me my heart is two sizes too small, but kenny, sometimes they tell me it's three sizes too big!
(NOT BY ANY MEANS jim carrey's version of the grinch. that was an EFFING TRAVESTY. i'm STILL reeling from it)

Oh god yes. My little niece has recently started watching THAT movie. Over and over. It is so awful. I had never saw it until just recently. It really, really, really, really is putrid.
please, i implore you, buy your niece the REAL grinch. the book and/or the boris karloff version. please
we had our department holiday lunch today at a tavern in the town where we work. (i didn't want to go, but i did any way). my friend k was telling me her daughter watched it for the FIRST time this past weekend. she is 10. she LOVED it. i am so happy to hear that. i can't even tell you...........

I am happy to report to you that she LOVES the original Grinch. That's what made her want to see the other version.
