my second batch of cast resin

(my first was posted a day or two ago....)

i used beads as i did the first time, a little paint was mixed in on a few of these as well. i used a couple of dominos, a circular/spiral paper clip, a plastic red star i found and those teeny tiny little glass craft beads too.

i sprayed these and the ones i made the other day with some 'glaze' i got. it was a mistake. although they're still kind of cool looking, they are no longer clear. the 'glaze' coating is NOT quite clear. it's rather ... i guess...foggy is the word i want

my first go round with casting resin

for jewelry. i used beads and the little tiny glass beads and glitter. the resin i used was easy cast. i just picked it up at michael's. i'm sure you can find it online as well. if you go to you tube and type in casting resin or easy cast or resin jewelry, you'll get a bunch of instructional videos. here are some pictures from the back and the front of what i cast. a few pieces turned out GREAT a few not so great. a LEARNING experience
