a VERY simple snack for work

unsalted cashews (not raw)
pine nuts
chopped dates
a spritz of cooking spay (oil)

a sprinkling of:
sea salt
chili powder

put nuts in a plastic bag. spritz with the cooking oil spray and sprinkle with the salt and herbs. seal bag and shake.
somehow this just all works together. the sweet from the dates, the kick from the cayenne the spice from the chili and cumin. it really does satisfy and meld PERFECTLY (if i do say so myself. and i do)

note: for EXTRA good flavor, first toast the cashews and pine nuts on top of the stove in an UNGREASED skillet. keep your eye on them because if you don't they'll burn and they are inedible
